Sal O.

BIO:
Sal O. aka The Godfather aka G-Daddy was born and raised in the Bay Area with a strong Sicilian influence from his mother and his large Italian family. He moved as a child from the East Bay to the Peninsula in Half Moon Bay, where he got involved in the local hip-hop scene at the age of 14. He has been recording with D-Lux, Flip the Hoody, and K-Money since the very beginning, putting together mix tapes on janky recording software and laying down vocals on a mic with a sock over it to act as a screen. Eventually he saved up enough money to buy some respectable recording equipment, which elevated his artistic presence to the next level. However, he says his most important connection that he met while going to high school in the city was his current producer/ beat maker/ crewmember—Epic the General. “Epic threw me about 20 beats that he made using fruity loops when I first met him. They were all slappin, especially for being fruity loops beats, but one stood out to me in particular. I had an idea to make a song with a CEO, boss attitude theme, and Epic made the perfect beat for it… without even knowing it.” This beat would eventually get made into the hit single that formed the CEO Click, put them on the radar, and became a local anthem—C.E.O. The song features Sal O., D-Lux, and The First, this would be the first song that the CEO Click would record with The First, who would later become a part of the CEO Click performing shows in the city along side them. While Sal O. has had the idea of starting his own record label, G-Spot Entertainment, since sophomore year in high school, it was not until recently when he teamed up with Rick Jeffries, a young entrepreneur, that he was able to kick the label off the ground. It’s a very exciting time right now for Sal O., we expect to see big things out him, his crew-- CEO Click, and his record label-- G-Spot Entertainment: music that makes you feel good.
